The Captain D’s Seafood Kitchen located at 2236 Ross Clark Circle NW in Dothan, Ala., was significantly damaged by fire in January 2009. On June 15, management welcomed guests to the newly rebuilt store, which has 41 employees.
The Ross Clark Circle location in Dothan, AL, originally opened in 1985. One benefit of the store’s rebuilding was the opportunity for the location’s reimaging using Captain D’s more upscale prototype.
Interior updates include the company’s revamped menu, opening up the front lobby area to better welcome customers and installation of customer-facing coolers to promote the company’s grab-n-go offerings.
The company’s menu revamp added more seafood and grilled selections to the menu. Captain D’s current menu promotion is its Shrimp, Shrimp and More Shrimp campaign, which includes the 4 Way Shrimp Platter, available for $8.99.
Captain D’s mid-tier shrimp offering is its Shrimp Scampi Dinner, available for $4.99. The dinner features grilled shrimp on a bed of rice topped it with a buttery scampi sauce. It comes with a choice of two sides and a breadstick.
Captain D’s also has a shrimp value meal, the new Crispy Asian Shrimp Basket, available for $3.99. The basket includes a choice of any side and hushpuppies.
