The North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers Show (NAFEM) kicked off in Orlando, Fla., Feb. 10. The show will bring together more than 500 exhibiting companies and up to 20,000 attendees.
On display in NAFEM's What's Hot, What's Cool product gallery is Remco Industries International's RedFire rotisserie oven. The oven cooks chicken wings and other products without the use of oil and utilizes the company's lightwave technology.
Also in the What's Hot, What's Cool gallery is Blendtec's self-serve smoothie system. Consumers place their cup in the blending alcove, make their selection and then the system rotates the cup out of view, fills it and returns it to the customer.
The Grosfillex Contract Tempo Chair comes with a two-color design and can be used for indoor/outdoor dining. The chairs also are for use in non-traditional locations such as food courts, airports, shopping malls, colleges and universities.
The Follett Corporation's 7 Series Ice and Water Dispenser is designed for use in the healthcare industry. The freestanding dispenser operates with the touch of a button and can hold up to 90 pounds of ice.
Several pieces of warewashing and food storage equipment are on display in NAFEM's What's Hot, What's Cool product gallery. Products include Hobart's Advansys Ventless Door-Type Warewasher (center). The product featured Hobart's energy recovery solution.
