16 Handles, a Manhattan-based frozen yogurt concept that first opened in 2008, is ready to expand throughout the East Coast. The company relies heavily on social media, eco-friendly practices and product customization.
16 Handles is set to open five new units this spring, and eight new Manhattan area units within the next two years.
16 Handles' new store design is currently featured at the Upper East Side NYC and Jericho locations.
The design includes LCD screens with animated flavor/nutrition facts and updated video images to showcase local promotions, new flavors and contests.
The 16 Handles concept rotates 16 flavors “on tap” daily and by location. Additionally, more than 40 toppings are offered, such as carob chips, almonds, granola, yogurt raisins and seasonal fruit.
16 Handles offers non-fat, Kosher-certified, and live and active culture-certified frozen yogurts. Flavors also are available in non-dairy and sugar-free versions.
