In the space of less than half-a-year, California-based QSR, In-N-Out, has tripled its presence in Colorado to three total, and the chain confirmed to QSRweb in an email that it has another four stores either under construction or in development in the Mountain State currently.

Last December, the brand opened stores in Aurora and Colorado Springs to long lines, and even a few fights broke out among fans vying for good spots to get their next burger, as reported in a previous story by QSRweb.

In February, a store opened in Lone Tree in the state, prompting TV news stations in the area to cover the event and even disseminate complex parking pattern plans to route traffic around and into the new little darling on Lone Tree's fast food block.

Now, In-N-Out confirms it's currently either developing or has under construction four more stores in the state, giving a glimpse of how this brand pours it on when it's ready to move into an area. The newest Colorado stores in that under-construction or in-development stage include:

  • Castle Rock.
  • Colorado Springs (aside from the current store there).
  • Lakewood.
  • Thornton.

A spokeswoman for the famously tight-lipped burger brand confirmed this information in an email to QSRweb:

The brand currently has 363 units systemwide in seven states, she said. The next planned openings for the company, would likely be in Henderson, Nevada and Riverside, California. However, she added, "it is still too early to identify precise opening dates."
