At the Founderology Growth Summit this year, my keynote was titled Built to Breakthrough: The Playbook for Accelerating Growth.

The room was filled with restaurant Founders who understand growth. They know how to open restaurants. They know how to build operational teams. They know how to serve customers at a high level and advance their brand.

Growth is rarely the problem. The real challenge begins when growth introduces complexity.

Every Founder eventually reaches a moment where the business has momentum, revenue is real, and expansion sits clearly in front of the brand. At the same time, something begins to tighten inside the organization.

The company has grown beyond the early stage. Yet the company's structure is still operating like an early-stage concept. The business begins to feel too big to operate like a small business and too small to operate like a real company. I call this moment the Stuck Zone.
