3Gsignage to debut mobile coupon app at Digital Signage Expo

February 18, 2010

3Gsignage has announced the international release of its latest retail marketing tool: iBrand, a mobile Internet-based coupon application that pulls iPhone users into the stores. The launch will take place during the Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas Feb. 23-25.

3Gsignage's iPhone coupon application is designed for retailers and restaurants and has proven to increase sales volumes significantly when used in combination with the company's Digital Signage Software as a Service. The application allows iPhone users to download, save, redeem bar-coded coupons, locate stores via GPS and tip friends about special offers and discounts from stores.

This customer loyalty initiative reinforces the impact of messages displayed on digital signage screens in stores. Customers enticed to return to the store repeatedly to redeem their coupons are pulled directly in front of LCD or plasma screens, where product information is shown. 3Gsignage's mission is to give all customer-facing organizations the opportunity to take advantage of the benefits created by the fusion of the two fastest growing technologies: digital signage and the mobile web, and to use them as a powerful pull and push effect.

"Our iPhone e-coupon helps retailers attract and retain high-end demographics who value personal touches and innovative initiatives. We believe it is an effective response to the shift from mass to one-to-one marketing," 3Gsignage's marketing director, Tara McCluskey-Anthun, said.

Based in Oslo, Norway, 3Gsignage is a creator and provider of retail marketing products and services with a focus on digital signage networks and mobile targeting tools.
