If you're counting — and we are — there are just 11 days to St. Patrick's Day, and Dunkin' is not about to let customers in "lucky seven" cities forget it. That's where the brand has changed its name, signage and some interior features to reflect a new name, "O'Dunkin."
The today-only marketing initiative is part of an overall push to promote the brand's return of Irish Crème-flavored drinks to its menu and at each O'Dunkin' location, 250 guests will also get a free small hot or iced Irish Crème-flavored coffee or latte, as part of the celebration, a news release said.
The locations include:
Irish Crème-flavored coffees and espresso drinks have been among Dunkin's most requested former menu items over the five years they've been on hiatus. Now the flavor is available in hot, iced and frozen coffee, as well as espresso drinks, lattes, cappuccinos, Americanos, macchiatos and other varieties.
The chain is also serving $2 medium-sized iced coffees 2-6 p.m., daily throughout the month of March.
