7-Eleven, Inc., the premier name and largest chain in the convenience retailing industry, announced recently that Joseph M. DePinto has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of the company effective Dec. 1, 2005.

DePinto has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of the company effective Dec. 1, 2005. DePinto will oversee all strategic, operational and financial aspects of the company, and will report to Toshifumi Suzuki, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Seven-Eleven Japan Co., Ltd. DePinto, 43, is returning to 7-Eleven from GameStop Corp., one of the world's largest video game and entertainment software retailers, where he has served as President since March 2005. 7-Eleven, Inc. is the premier name and largest chain in the convenience retailing industry.
