Need proof the nation's getting back to normal? Look no further than Culver's, where for the first time since 2019 the chain is adding items to its Flavor of the Day Fresh Frozen Custard lineup, a news release said.

The pair of additions include salted caramel pecan pie, being introduced June 10, followed by strawberry chocolate parfait, making its debut July 10, both at the brand's nearly 800 stores in 25 states.

Salted caramel pecan pie features vanilla fresh frozen custard swirled with ribbons of salted caramel, toasted pecans and butter cake pieces. Strawberry chocolate parfait is an amalgam of vanilla fresh frozen custard swirled with strawberries and chocolate cake pieces.

"Every time we create a new Flavor of the Day, we begin by combining ingredients that we hope will surprise, delight and satisfy our guests," Director of Menu Development Quinn Adkins said in the release. "We've been developing and perfecting these flavors for years, and we can't wait for our guests to fall in love with them."

The very first Culver's Flavor of the Day was caramel pecan, crafted in 1984 at the original Culver's in Sauk City, Wisconsin. The lineup now includes 38 recipes that are featured on each restaurant's own Flavor of the Day calendar.

Culver's is based in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin.
