Amazon is launching a one-hour restaurant delivery service for Prime Now members using the mobile app and it's free for a limited time.

Hungry Baltimore diners who aren’t in the mood to go out can now tap a new restaurant delivery service Amazon is launching that promises food will arrive within an hour. It’s available via the Amazon Prime Now mobile app and free for a limited time.
The service encompasses a long list of local restaurants includingCity Cafe, HomeSlyce, Indigma, Locust Point Steamers, Matsuri, Shiso Tavern, The Helmand, and many more, according to a press announcement. Users can check out menus, place orders and track delivery status from the restaurant to the point of destination.
"Baltimore's vibrant mix of neighborhoods has created an equally vibrant food scene," said Gus Lopez, general manager, Amazon Restaurants, in the release. "We're excited to offer Amazon Prime customers a fast and convenient way to enjoy some of the city's best restaurants without having to drive or take a water taxi."
The delivery service, which involves about 60 eateries at this point, is available across 10 zip codes in and around downtown Baltimore and will continue expanding restaurant selection in the coming weeks, according to Amazon.
