The Salt Lake Tribune: A customer at a Salt Lake City McDonald's became enraged upon learning the restaurant had already switched to its breakfast menu when he wanted to order off the lunch/dinner menu at 2 a.m.
Two passengers got out of the car, and one pulled a sawed-off shotgun out of the trunk. He then fired once or twice into the drive-thru window before the car drove off. No one was injured in the shooting, police said.
In a separate incident in the Houston area, KHOU reports, seven people were hurt outside a McDonald's Saturday when a man with a shotgun opened fire.
A group of McDonald's employees told deputies they were talking with friends in the parking lot when a dark-colored SUV pulled up, an argument broke out and someone in the SUV started firing a shotgun into the crowd.
