Announcing the 1st Mexican QSR wrapping paper wars

Regardless what gift-giving holiday customers celebrate, at least two Mexican QSR brands hope the givers will wrap their presents in food-emblazoned paper from their brands. That's right, both Taco Bell Canada and Del Taco have created wrapping paper this holiday season to promote new menu items.

The papers, available  for $4 Canadian (a little over $3 USD) are available through Dec. 16. 

"We're always looking for new ways to surprise our fans. The CrunchWrapping paper allows us to partake in the holiday season in a way that's authentic to who we are as a brand," Taco Bell Canada Head of Marketing Veronica Castillo, said in the release. "Plus, we're giving our fans an opportunity to celebrate the return of the Triple Double Crunchwrap."
 
And a couple of days after Taco Bell Canada's wrap announcement, Del Taco announced it is offering wrapping paper, this one bearing burrito images to promote burrito its Epic Triple Meat Burrito. The brand said in a news release though that it was giving its burrito rolls away to a few Instagram fans via an IG Story "Swipe Up."

Who knew Mexican food-filled wrapping paper was going to be a "thing" this holiday?
