Arby's franchisee sells 47 restaurants to U.S. Beef Corp.

Denver-based The Bailey Co. has sold all 47 of its Arby's units to another Arby's franchisee, U.S. Beef Corp. According to the Denver Business Journal, those restaurants are located in Colorado, Idaho and Wyoming.

Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

U.S. Beef Corp. is Arby's largest franchisee, and after this deal, has 325 Arby's stores in eight states, also including Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Illinois.

According to the story, The Bailey Co. president Geoff Bailey, who is the second generation to run the business, said there isn't a third generation family interest to continue running the restaurants, prompting the sale.
