Arby’s partners with Malin Akerman, Harry Jowsey for $1.99 slider campaign

Arby's is introducing a nationwide, limited-time promotion featuring its line of sliders for $1.99 each, according to a press release.

The lineup includes four options: the Roast Beef Slider, Buffalo Chicken Slider, Chicken Slider and Ham Slider. Each provides between 10 and 12 grams of protein.

To promote the discounted menu items, the fast-food chain launched a social media campaign featuring reality television personality Harry Jowsey and actress Malin Akerman. The promotional content features the duo joking about "sliding into DMs" and using the low-priced sandwiches to make a lasting impression.

"Who knew the secret to sliding into DMs was Arby's Sliders? I had such a great time working with Harry on this campaign and bringing an unexpected, playful idea to life," Akerman said in the press release.

"Arby's knows that first impressions aren't about doing the most — they're about coming in with something people actually want," said Jowsey. "That's why Arby's Sliders work. They've got unmatched flavor with great protein and a $1.99 price that's hard to ignore."

The $1.99 promotional pricing is available for a limited time at participating U.S. locations. Arby's noted that prices may be higher in select markets, including California, Connecticut, New York, Oregon and Washington. Customers can purchase the sliders in restaurants, at drive-thrus, online or through the official Arby's mobile app.
