Arcos Dorados restaurant managers to be recognized with global award

Arcos Dorados, the world's largest McDonald's franchisee, has announced that 26 of its restaurant managers across 10 Latin American countries have won the Ray Kroc Award.

Arcos Dorados, the world's largest McDonald's franchisee, has announced that 26 of its restaurant managers across 10 Latin American countries have won the Ray Kroc Award, an accolade that recognizes the top performing McDonald's restaurant managers globally. The award recipients were among 340 McDonald's restaurant managers around the world (representing the top 1 percent of restaurant managers) to receive the honor, according to a company press release.

"We would like to congratulate our award-winning managers for delivering an outstanding restaurant experience to our customers," said Diego Benenzon, vice president of Human Resources. "The receipt of this prestigious global award by so many of Arcos Dorados' restaurant managers underscores the highest standards of quality, service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction at our restaurants. "

The award recipients originated from Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

"Our employees are the face of the Arcos Dorados family and we are fully committed to their training, development and internal advancement. We are proud to be represented by these individuals as we work together to ensure Arcos Dorados is and continues to be a great place to work," Benenzon said.

McDonald's owner-operators and regional management nominate restaurant managers for the Ray Kroc Awards to recognize their hard work, dedication, and commitment to McDonald's and its customers, the release stated.

The recipients will be awarded a cash prize and a trophy on April 13 at the Ray Kroc Awards Gala in Orlando, Florida, hosted by Steve Easterbrook, McDonald's president and CEO, and David Fairhurst, McDonald's executive vice president and chief people officer.
