Carl's Jr. founder Carl Karcher, has announced that three of the siblings are embarking on a multi-stop, statewide tour of their 59 Carl's Jr. franchised restaurants to spread holiday cheer.
Margaret, Carl and Jason LeVecke are participating in the Carl's Jr. Making it Happen Tour and said they are following their grandfather's example of helping others. The 23-city tour begins Dec. 8 in Phoenix and concludes on Dec. 18 in Guadalupe, Ariz.
The nine-day tour, led by a vegetable-oil-fueled Carl's Jr. truck, includes stops at 59 Carl's Jr. restaurants and features a check presentation to a local charity group, organization or individual. Each tour stop will also include giveaways of Carl's Jr. menu tastings and merchandise coupon.
