Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A is showing some love for its customers and its home-state of Georgia — the peach state — by offering a peach milkshake.
A news release said Chick-fil-A's now deceased founder, Truett Cathy, originally inspired the creamy treat that blends the brand's icedream dessert with peaches and tops it with whipped cream and a cherry. The summer tradition for the brand began in 2009.
"It's the little things like a cold treat on a warm day that makes summer so sweet, and this is one of the many reasons we are thrilled to welcome back this much-anticipated favorite," Beth Hefner, menu development team member, said in the release.
Chick-fil-A restaurants now has more than 2,600 restaurants in 47 states, Washington, D.C. and Canada.
