A&W baskets some cod pre-Lent

A&W said on its website that the brand is launching a fish-centered LTO in the run-up to the Christian religious season of Lent, which begins Feb. 26. The brand has created both a cod slider and pub-battered cod basket, according to its website. 

Cod sliders include a fried cod fillet with tartar sauce and dill pickles on a potato bun. Baskets come in three varieties, including one with three pieces of cod, another with 16 shrimp and a third with cod sliders. All are served with fries and coleslaw.
