Back Yard Burgers reported the company will see new growth this year with existing franchise partners scheduled to open additional stores and deals for prospective franchise partners.

"Everyone on the Back Yard Burgers team deserves a great deal of credit for the company's success. Our restaurant owners and employees made it their mission to delight every guest," said Chief Executive Officer Dave McDougall in a statement. "Prospective franchisees have taken notice, and Back Yard Burgers has a solid foundation to expand upon in 2015."

The company exited Chapter 11 status in January 2013 and experienced 21 consecutive months of same-store sales increases, a 10.2 percent increase from 2013, through the end of 2014, with a four percent increase in franchisees.
