Baskin-Robbins has reached into its Deep Freeze of retired flavors to bring back the Bobsled Brownie throughout December.
The flavor, back by popular demand, was inspired by the 2002 U.S. women's bobsled victory in the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
It features a combination of butter caramel ice cream with chocolate chip blondie brownie pieces, milk chocolate mousse ice cream and a fudge crackle ribbon.
"Baskin-Robbins is known for creating ice cream flavors that mark moments in history whether based on a sporting event or an impact on pop culture," said Stan Frankenthaler, Baskin-Robbins executive chef and vice president of Innovation at parent company Dunkin' Brands. "We're excited to bring back this popular winter flavor for a limited time for our guests to enjoy all month long."
Baskin-Robbins is offering Bobsled Brownie ice cream nationwide, for a limited time only, by the scoop – in a cup or cone – or as a Baskin-Robbins classic sundae. The flavor also is available in hand-packed pints, quarts and half-gallons.
Baskin-Robbins' also is now offering personalized photo or message gift cards in any amount between $2 and $200. The cards never expire.
