Baskin-Robbins hosting global cake promotion

Baskin-Robbins announced it is hosting a Global Ice Cream Cake Celebration, with giveaways and new cake options. Throughout October, Baskin-Robbins will giveaway "31 Cakes in 31 Days" in countries around the world. The promotion is for those who follow the brand on Twitter.

In addition, the brand is rolling out two new ice cream cakes at its US locations, including the Celebration Mini Roll Cake and Rosette Mini Roll Cake.

"We're excited to kick off a Global Ice Cream Cake Celebration at Baskin-Robbins with giveaways around the world and the launch of two new ice cream cake options here in the U.S.," John Costello, president, Global Marketing and Innovation, said in a news release. "Baskin-Robbins is known globally for our creative and customizable ice cream cakes, which are perfect for any holiday or celebration.”

The Celebration Mini Roll Cake and Rosette Mini Roll Cake start at the suggested retail price of $12.99 at participating shops. The new Mini Roll Cakes serve two to four people, the release said.

In addition, the brand is offering seasonal ice cream cake, including the Pumpkin Patch Cake and Fall Harvest Roll Cake.

Finally, the Dunkin' Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation's (DDBRCF) "Cakes for a Cause" Program also kicked off this week, in which guests are invited to make a $1 donation to the DDBRCF at participating Baskin-Robbins shops nationwide. All funds raised will support The DDBRCF's efforts to serve local communities.
