Baskin-Robbins launches seasonal flavors

June 5, 2012

Baskin-Robbins has introduced Strawberry Lemonade Punch Sherbet as its June Flavor of the Month.

The blend of strawberry and lemonade sherbets complements other Baskin-Robbins summer flavors that are returning to the menu nationwide, including Watermelon Chip, Blueberry Cheesecake and no sugar added Pineapple Coconut.

Baskin-Robbins also is introducing a new Tropical Banana Smoothie, which is made with fresh banana and fat-free vanilla frozen yogurt, and offers the flavors of guava, orange and passion fruit. It's the newest addition to Baskin-Robbins' frozen beverage lineup, which also includes blended smoothies, hard scoop ice cream milkshakes, and Cappuccino Blast and Iced Cappy Blast beverages.

"With the weather warming up, it's the perfect time to cool off with ice cream or another one of Baskin-Robbins' delectable frozen treats," said Stan Frankenthaler, Baskin-Robbins executive chef and vice president of Innovation at Dunkin' Brands. "Our new Strawberry Lemonade Punch Sherbet is a fun and fruity twist on our sherbet flavors. And to quench anyone's thirst, our new Tropical Banana Smoothie offers the taste of exotic fruits and is a refreshing way to welcome summer."

In participating Baskin-Robbins shops nationwide in June, Baskin-Robbins' new Strawberry Lemonade Sherbet Punch is available by the scoop in a cup or cone. It also is available in fresh-packed pints and quarts or pre-packed quarts.
