Today, Joe Biden, the President of the United States, pardoned two turkeys in an annual ceremony that dates back decades. Baskin-Robbins is also pardoning turkeys ... cake, that it.

According to a press release, Baskin-Robbins' own "Commander-in-Ice Cream," Jerid Grandinetti, hosted the formal Turkey Cake pardon via TikTok and Instagram on the same day as the official pardon at the White House.

Guests can pre-order their Turkey Cake on the Baskin-Robbins App and receive $5 off their cake purchase of $35 or more pre-tax with code TURKEY at checkout for a Thanksgiving dessert that's sure to be the talk of the table.

"Holiday gatherings are about sharing memorable experiences, and our Brie My Guest and Turkey Cake do just that," Grandinetti, VP of marketing and culinary at Baskin-Robbins, said in the press release. "Our new Flavor of the Month is a bold twist on the best parts of a cheeseboard that will delight your guests and spark conversation at the table."

Baskin-Robbins, founded in 1945, operates more than 7,700 retail shops in 33 global markets. Baskin-Robbins is part of the Inspire Brands family of restaurants.
