Beef begets "Beef" at Arby's

July 25, 2016

Twenty-seven-year-old British golfing cult sensation, Andrew "Beef" Johnston will soon appear in the PGA Championship tournament in New Jersey sporting the Arby's brand, as part of its "We Have the Meats" campaign. The brand's logo will be worn by the popular pro linksman beginning Saturday at the start of the historic tournament. You can catch the Arby's logo both coming and going since he'll be wearing it on his shirt and his cap.

According to For the Win, the chain signed the pro golfer recently in a marketing deal which found him kicking things off this past weekend by serving Arby's to folks around New York City. He won the Spanish Open, earlier this year and came in sixth at the British Open last week. His nickname, "Beef," is attributed to the chants of his fans when he approaches the tee.
