Ben & Jerry’s creates new flavor to fight GMOs

In response to a lawsuit filed against Vermont’s GMO labeling law, Ben & Jerry’s has unveiled Food Fight Fudge Brownie, a new name for one of its signature flavors – Chocolate Fudge Brownie. According to the company, the flavor will support Vermont’s legal defense.

Ben & Jerry’s cofounder Jerry Greenfield said "Vermont residents want to know what’s in their food, and that is why the company is supporting the lawsuit." Through July, a portion of each sale of Food Fight Fudge Brownie from its Vermont company-owned stores will support the fund.
