Ben & Jerry's gives a nod to Anchorman 2 release

Ben & Jerry's has added "Scotchy Scotch Scotch" to its ice cream flavor lineup for a limited time. The flavor features butterscotch ice cream with ribbons of butterscotch swirl and was created in celebration of "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues," due in theaters Dec. 20.

Anchorman is the story of TV news anchor Ron Burgundy, who has a love for scotch. The flavor was officially unveiled at New York City's Pier 36 earlier this week. The event included a performance by Nutty The Waterskiing Squirrel, who was featured in the original Anchorman film.

"As a company who believes our fans deserve nothing but the best, we have great respect for Ron Burgundy, who takes the same belief to heart," said Lisa Sholk, Ben & Jerry's brand manager, who lead the team on the Scotchy Scotch Scotch flavor project.

Scotchy Scotch Scotch is available now at participating shops across the country. Pints of the flavor will arrive on store shelves over the next few weeks.
