Ben's Soft Pretzels raises funds for fallen veterans on 'National Pretzel Day'

To celebrate National Pretzel Day on April 26, Ben's Soft Pretzels will give away pretzels with a minimum $1-donation to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

To celebrate National Pretzel Day on April 26, Ben's Soft Pretzels, an Amish-inspired soft pretzel franchise, will give away pretzels with a minimum $1-donation to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The free pretzel promotion will be available at participating locations, according to a company press release.

Ben's Soft Pretzels will donate 100 percent of the collected donations from April 26 to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a non-profit organization that provides support to United States military personnel and their families. In 2015, Ben's Soft Pretzels raised more than $30,000 to support the organization.

The franchise will also be giving away a year's worth of free pretzels to lucky fan via a contest app on its Facebook page. Consumers can enter to win by filling out the entry form found at and listing the name of their favorite Veteran. A winner will be chosen at random from the entries on May 2.

With the minimum $1 donation, visitors will receive a Jumbo Soft Pretzel to celebrate National Pretzel Day and support those who have served their country. Ben's Soft Pretzels also gave away free pretzels to those who have served in the Armed Forces on Veteran's Day to show its support for the men and women who defend our country.
