Bill Kurtis using iconic voice to support restaurant industry

Television journalist Bill Kurtis known for his iconic voice is now using it to urge Americans to support the industry by ordering carryout and delivery as much as possible.

"This is Bill Kurtis, urging you to support your local restaurants who are offering carry out food pick up," said in a YouTube video. "They are considered part of the essential services that the Governor has exempted and asked to remain open.  Not only is it important for you to look to your own good health with quality food, but also to continue to support our chefs, their staffs and local farmers.  We need to with them in good times and challenging ones."

Kurtis, a former co-anchor of the CBS Morning Show and CBS affiliate WBBM-TV in Chicago, Kurtis goes on to talk about how he is supporting restaurants in his hometown of Chicago.
