Blimpie to give away free sandwiches

ATLANTA — In celebration of its 44th birthday, Blimpie is giving away free 6-inch sub sandwiches May 2, 3 and 4 to customers who purchase a 22-ounce drink.
There are more than 100 Blimpie locations throughout Atlanta and Northern Georgia participating in the give-away.
The first Blimpie opened in 1964 in Hoboken, N.J., and was named for the blimp-like appearance of the bread.Today, there are nearly 1,300 Blimpie locations across the Unted States.
