Bojangles’ honors its top restaurants and unit directors

The Biscoe, N.C., Bojangles' won first place in the company's ShowBo Awards after undergoing an evaluation process based on customer satisfaction, food quality and overall experience.

For earning first place, the Unit Director Mindy Holder was awarded $10,000. Holder has been with Bojangles' for 14 years and has placed in the ShowBo top 10 for three consecutive years, earning third place in 2013 before this year's first place finish, according to a news release.

Each year Bojangles' conducts an evaluation of its more than 225 company-operated restaurants to determine the winners of the ShowBo Awards. The assessment for this year's awards included two rounds of unannounced inspections conducted by a team of two judges at both the lunch and dinner hours.

In addition to the Bojangles' in Biscoe, two other Bojangles' locations received ShowBo recognition.  The Bojangles' in Aberdeen, N.C., was awarded second place and Unit Director Carol Peterson earned a cash prize of $7,500. Third place was awarded to the Bojangles' in Hope Mills, N.C., and the restaurant's Unit Director Kim Bennett earned a $5,000 cash prize.
