Bojangles' kicks off statewide fundraiser for education

In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Month, celebrated in May in South Carolina, Bojangles' has partnered with nonprofit South Carolina Future Minds to raise funds to support public education in the state.

Beginning May 19 through June 1, Bojangles' is inviting customers to honor teachers by purchasing a symbolic apple, $1 for red or $5 for green, at more than 100 participating restaurants across the state. Customers can write the name of the teacher they would like to honor on each apple, which will be featured on the walls of Bojangles' restaurants.

All funds raised will support South Carolina Future Minds, a nonprofit dedicated to serving the needs of the state's public education system.

In addition to the Teacher Appreciation Month fundraiser, participating Bojangles' throughout the state will treat teachers to a free Legendary Iced Tea or other beverage with any purchase beginning May 5 through May 31.
