Bojangles has promoted Cathy Chase to chief people officer. She will focus on building modern, scalable systems that enhance how Bojangles supports its growing team, according to a press release.
"Cathy understands that how we serve each other is just as important as how we serve our guests," Jose Armario, Bojangles CEO, said in the press release. "She leads with heart, drives with strategy and shows up for our people every day. That kind of leadership is how we build a stronger Bojangles from the inside out."
Chase joined the company in 2020 as senior director of employee experience and then VP of people and culture.
"I'm seeing everybody throughout the organization step up to the moment that we're in right now, from leaders in our restaurants to right here at our Support Center in Charlotte," Chase said in the press release. "That sense of connection is what fuels my work, and it's why I'm committed to helping every team member grow into their best self. That's how we build a stronger Bojangles — by leading with purpose and putting people first."
Bojangles was founded in 1977 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
