Bonchon opens Michigan restaurant

Korean fried chicken brand Bonchon has continued to grow in Michigan with the opening of a unit in Troy. It's owned and operated by Eunju Jeong, a current franchisee, according to a press release.

"I'm eager to grow with such a globally-loved brand with this new location and I am certain we will quickly become a regular spot for the Troy community to enjoy great food with family and friends," Jeong said in the press release. "We're ready to have the people experience some of the best fried chicken they've ever had."

A grand opening event will be held Oct. 31.

Bonchon currently operates more than 390 restaurants across eight countries.
