Brazilian prosecutor seeks ban of fast-food toys

Reuters: A Brazilian prosecutor has asked for a national ban on toys sold with meals at chains such as McDonald's and Burger King, saying the practice can lead children to develop bad eating habits.
A judge must first decide whether to hear the request. A Brazilian non-profit group last year complained to prosecutors that the promotion of the toys violated the country's consumer protection legislation.
