Burger King customers have been telling the chain that they want their Cheesy Tots and they want them at breakfast, so the brand is making it happen. The little spheres of crunchy gooeyness returned to the menu in November, but their introduction as a breakfast item is new, a press release said.
The move reflects the uptick in consumer preferences for fast food breakfast and snack items. Cheesy Tots check both boxes, while also serving as an alternative "side" item. They run $1.99 for an eight-piece tot toter-full.
