Britain to unveil plans to curb QSRs near schools

The Observer:The British government will launch a strategy Jan. 23 to curb the spread of fast-food outlets near schools and halt the country's levels of obesity.
 
Ministers want to limit the number of QSRs that are allowed to open, especially near schools and parks. Local councils already have the power to impose restrictions, but rarely do so.
