Bruster's Real Ice Cream is partnering with the International Franchise Association's VetFran program to offer qualified military veterans a 50-percent discount on the initial Bruster's franchise fee of $30,000.
"Bruster's appreciates the sacrifices made by members of the military, and we are a good fit for veterans. Almost 12 percent of Bruster’s franchisees were in the military," CEO Jim Sahene said in a news release. "We hope this incentive to open a Bruster's helps veterans transition to a personally fulfilling civilian life."
Along with the franchise fee discount, Bruster’s has a new design for shopping centers requiring a smaller investment than its previous standalone shops.
