Bruster’s hires Kahala veteran to lead franchise development

Corey Bradley has joined Bruster's Real Ice Cream as its new vice president of Franchise Development. According to the company, Bradley was hired to help with the chain's turnaround and growth strategy.

He most recently served as director of Franchise Development for Kahala Brands, responsible for driving unit growth for the company's 15 national restaurant brands including Cold Stone Creamery, Blimpie and Taco Time.

"As our brand continues to enjoy unprecedented success, it is extremely well-positioned for additional growth," CEO Jim Sahene said in a news release. "Now is the ideal time to add a position dedicated to franchise development and tap into Corey's expertise."

In addition to his foodservice industry experience, Bradley was manager of business development for Cole Retail Investments, principal at franchise consultancy Creative Development Services, manager of Franchise Development for Re-Bath Corp. and manager of Business Development at MicroAge.
