Bruster's opens 3 stores, adds Oreo S'mores

Ice cream month is officially here and ice cream QSR Bruster's is doing it up right by not only introducing a new flavor, but three new locations, as well.

The Ice Cream Month LTO of S'mores with Oreo combines the graham cracker-marshmallow crush concoction's flavors with that all-American cookie-and-cream combo. And, from July 17 -19, the brand is offering double points days for rewards customers, according to a press release.

Along with new flavors and deals, the Pennsylvania-based chain recently opened three stores. The locations include Ashburn, Virginia, Bowie, Maryland and Polaris, Ohio. The brand said also has five stores under construction and a store agreement in Charlotte, North Carolina.

"Throughout the past few months we've seen customers and stores display incredible resilience," CEO Jim Sahene said in the release. "As we move deeper into the summer season, we hope to spend time together — as safe and permitted — to share in special moments. We're fortunate to be in a business of scooping smiles and will continue to offer that to our local communities."

Bruster's celebrates 31 years in business on July 13 and the release said the brand experienced its "company-best" sales this past May.

Bruster's has almost 200 independently owned locations in 21 states, Guyana and South Korea.
