After five store openings last year, Bruster's Real Ice Cream is pushing into 2020 with a new Austin location opening soon on Ranch Road under the ownership of new franchisee, Rudolph Maier. A news release said this is Bruster's fifth store in the Lone Star State.
"It's a great time to welcome a strong franchisee, and new store, to our brand family," Bruster's Vice President of Marketing Jennifer Brinker said in the release. "We're looking forward to helping Rudolph and his team host their first PJ Day. It's a Bruster's tradition and one we love celebrating with our customers. We can't wait to get to know the community in and around Austin."
The 1,200-square-foot store has a deck as well and will host a grand opening March 7, along with its first PJ Day, meaning customers in their pajamas can get free small waffle cones.
In addition to Austin, Bruster's is also on track to open several other locations worldwide this year. The company currently has nearly 200 stores in 21 states, Guyana and South Korea.
