Bruster's Real Ice Cream has six units under agreement in San Diego, according to a press release. The franchises come on the heels of a sky-high sales season — through Q3, Bruster's same store sales were up over 19%, according to a press release.
"We're thrilled to see the continued positive momentum around our brand take hold," Bruster's CEO Jim Sahene said in the release. "We feel grateful to be in a position for growth and supporting our customers and franchisees across the country with premium ice cream and superior customer service that is a scoop above the rest."
There are nearly 200 independently owned Bruster's Real Ice Cream locations in 21 states, Guyana and South Korea.
