Bruster's Real Ice Cream is on the move, after signing twice as many franchise agreements this summer as last for a total of 12 deals for future stores, a news release said.
"Most of our new agreements are with existing franchisees," Kim Ellis, vice president, franchise development and legal, said in a news release. "The passion, dedication and commitment to the Bruster's brand these owners display is unmatched."
Likewise, the company reported that its same-store sales were up this year over last, although it did not say whether that was for the year, thus far, or a shorter period.
The Bridgewater, Pennsylvania-based brand has nearly 200 locations in 21 states, Guyana and South Korea.
