Bruster's Real Ice Cream said it has signed 10 new store agreements, including six restaurants set for California and four in Florida. The brand said the additions will put it firmly on the path to exceed 200 stores systewide, a news release said.
The new stores include five locations in California's Bay Area near San Francisco, as well as one in Fremont, California later this year. Bruster's also secured an agreement for a location in El Segundo, outside Los Angeles in California. In Florida, Bruster's has completed a deal for three stores around the Miami area, as well a another new store in Tampa.
"Building upon Bruster's excellent foundation, we are pursuing focus areas across the country that have demonstrated a desire for our products and an opportunity for growth,” said CEO Jim Sahene in the release. "We've found western markets are particularly receptive to our business model as well as the southeast. We're excited to onboard the new owners and support them on their entrepreneurial journey."
The brand said it now has almost 200 locations in 21 states, Guyana and South Korea.
