Burger King brings back nugget deal, sparking talk of price war

Burger King’s previous chicken nugget promotion, which ran in October, helped the company post a 3.6 percent gain in same-store sales in the U.S. and Canada for the third quarter.

Burger King is now selling its 10-piece chicken nuggets for $1.49, roughly half McDonld's $2.99 price tag, according to Bloomburg.

The limited time promotion drops the price per nugget to 15 cents.

Burger King’s previous chicken nugget promotion, which ran in October, helped the company post a 3.6 percent gain in same-store sales in the U.S. and Canada for the third quarter. McDonald’s had a 3.3 percent drop in U.S. sales during the same period, according to Bloomburg.
