Burger King franchisees refile suit over operating hours
June 9, 2009
The Miami Herald: A Miami-Dade Circuit Court judge has agreed to rehear the case brought by Burger King franchisees over the chain's requirement for extended late-night and early-morning operating hours. In November, another judge had dismissed the lawsuit filed last July by three Florida franchisees who argued that the extended-hours requirement violated franchise agreements, were unprofitable and posed a safety risk to their employees.
