MIAMI — Burger King Corp. founders David Edgerton and the late James W. McLamore recently received the Hall of Fame award from CEO John Chidsey.
A ceremony was held at Burger King Corp.'s headquarters. Guests included Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart and past honorees Ramon Moral, Marvin and Todd Schuster and Luis Arenas Perez.
To honor the Hall of Fame inductees, Burger King commissioned oil paintings of each winner. The paintings will be part of the Hall of Fame on the second floor of the corporate headquarters. The paintings have personalized crests along with mahogany pedestals that bear a plaque with each winner's biography.
