Burger King Japan recently introduced a Meat Monster Whopper, a derivative of the classic Whopper with an additional 3.3-ounce beef patty and other items.
According to Burger Business, customers can also add two extra cheese slices, three strips of bacon and a chicken patty. With all the potential fixings, the Meat Monster Whopper costs about $9.70.
The chain also rolled out the All Heavy Whopper in Japan, which sells for the same price as the standard Whopper at $4.97.
Burger King originally opened in Japan in 1996, but pulled out in 2001. In 2006, the company awarded exclusive development rights to Burger King Japan Co. Ltd. to return to the country, with its first unit opening the next year in Tokyo.
Since, Burger King Japan has introduced the Angry Whopper, added whiskey to its evening menu to market its Bourbon Burger and got a taste of the New York Pizza Burger.
