Burger King launched its five-item meal for $4 yesterday in a bid to compete with the recent introductions of McDonald's McPick 2 and Wendy's 4 for $4 deals, according to a USA Today report.
The new meal includes a bacon cheeseburger, small french fries, small drink, four-piece chicken nuggets and a chocolate chip cookie.
Burger King, McDonald's and Wendy's are seeking customers who want a value-conscious meal, the report stated.
McDonald's introduced its McPick 2 promotion Monday. Customers may order two of the following items for $2: McChicken, McDouble, mozzarella sticks or small french fries.
Wendy's was the first to enter the value fray last year when it debuted its 4 for $4 deal. It includes a junior bacon cheeseburger, four chicken nuggets, small fries and a drink, the report stated.
