Burger King manager sentenced for stealing $180,000 from store

CincinnatiPost: A former Burger King manager was found guilty of defrauding the Internal Revenue Service. Between 1996 and 2000, the manager skimmed $180,000 in cash from the Burger King he managed, and impeded the IRS in its collection of $50,400 in taxes. He faces a maximum prison sentence of five years and a $250,000 fine. He was indicted Jan. 18, and will be scheduled for sentencing at a later date.
