Burger King opens its doors in Paris' St. Lazare station

December 17, 2013

Burger King opened its doors this week in the St. Lazare Paris metro station's retail space. The opening marks the first time a Burger King restaurant has been installed in-station in France. It is part of an effort by Gares & Connexions to update the in-station dining offering by introducing new chains, according to a news release.

Klépierre is the investor and manager of the retail space, and the restaurant is franchised by Autogrill, which now has three units open in the country.

Located at the platform level, the Burger King restaurant in Paris St-Lazare offers a large dining terrace and an inside dining space that is open daily for business from 9:30 a.m. until midnight.

"I am delighted to see a Burger King restaurant open inside Saint-Lazare station. The arrival of this American fast-food king in-station in France will be welcome news for people who miss the Whopper. This opening is part of our new array of dining options, gourmet and accessible to everyone," said Rachel Picard, CEO of Gares & Connexions.
